You shouldn't give it up yet. You are to young. You have your whole life to think about. Guys will say anything to make a girl feel special. And having a baby at your age will suck. Its like being grounded for the rest of your life. Don't chance it.

Your mother is absolutely right. You will more than likely regret it. Don’t get me wrong, sex is a wonderfully exhilarating experience but the fact of the matter is, that the majority of girls who lost their virginity at a young age have stated that they wished they had waited. Everyone has their own reasons for wanting to wait, and you seem to be aware of the dangers of sexual transmitted diseases and pregnancy, so that’s a good start.

You’re 14, and chances are you will not stay with ur first love. And even though you think you’re in love and ready to take this huge step, later in life you will most likely join the countless others in wishing that you had waited.

Trust me, sex is extremely addictive and once you get caught up in it, it’ll only be a matter of time before you’re skipping school, and making up any excuse you could think of to run away and get some. This is a natural phase of life so believe me when I tell you that it is worth the wait.

Some of us held out pretty long and are still holding out and others decided to give in. What ever you decide to do, remember you too will have the opportunity to look back, and hopefully you'll be happy with your decision.

Your mom is right my best friend had sexual intercourse when she was 12 and haad a child when she was 13. Her mom wanted her to get an abortion but she would and some days that i talk to her she is just crying. it will be the biggest mistake u make in your life.just wait till ur 18 or engaged or married and make sure the guy is the right one. Dont screw around with fools that you cant trust 100%

Well, I just have to say pretty much the same thing. This is from a guy now too. Wait and wait some more. Especially at 14. You don't want to ruin your rep. If you were to have sex this fella may brag it around school too. That is where your reputation comes into play. If things don't work out with him then most likly other men will try to get with you because he led them to believe your easy. In result, you will be down a long road of heartache. Listen to the advice you get on here.

Don’t be pressurised into having sex for the first time before you’re really ready. Research suggests that people who delay losing their virginity until their late teens are more likely to have an enjoyable and memorable experience.
And, of course, if you do go ahead, you must use condoms if you have sex. It is also possible to get pregnant if the man brings his uncovered penis into any contact with the outside of the vagina, as pre-cum (liquid that comes out of the penis before ejaculation) can contain sperm.
I hope this helps Penny. Take care.

hold on too your virginity until your ready to settle down

i'm a guy and take it from me when i say what you have right now is something special, i understand you want to loose it but trust me when i say it's something worth holding onto for that one true guy who will respect you and treat you as his queen, and do not ever let any guy tell you things that they know will make you smile and feel special because it's only to get in your pants and have your virginity believe me when i say you will regret giving it away so fast and i'm a guy telling you this so that should tell you something about women these days, me personally i'm looking for a good woman who has self respect for herself and cannot find that woman for me and i have been searching for years

Wait!

It is crazy to have sex at such a young age. To use an analogy it is like opening your Christmas presents weeks before the big day (and there are no surprises left). Personally I believe that it is best to wait until marriage ...

Do what you believe

I believe life is what you make it, and you don't really need other peoples opinions as it hazes what you really want from life.
I think its really rude when people say you cannot fall in love so young, as that is not true at all, it is proven that from puberty a girl is very mature and has mature feelings that can be associated with love, experience does not allow you to learn how to love, it just comes naturally right?
Okay so your probably not convinced but take it from me, im two weeks away from my sixteenth birthday and one year ago tommorow I starting dating my boyfriend. I love him so deeply and i really care about him. He was struggling in school a little and im trying to help him get through his last year, and I would do anything for him. I know from talking to him and from talking to his mom who he shares everything with that he really loves me back. he has even asked his mom to help him save for an engagement ring so he can pop the question when im 18. Now i lost my virginity in july of 2012 when i was 3 months into being 15. I waited till i was ready and i fully trusted my boyfriend before we went any further, it was very natural and very romantic and we both lost our virginity that day.
I always believe you cannot put an age on anything, who says you have to wait till your a year old to talk, maybe some people would feel ready at 8 months? and who says you cant take a college course at age 16, rather than 18 is your ready?
the key thing here is being ready, there really is no rush, make sure you know you wont regret it and make sure you have spoken to your boyfriend about it beforehand.
just remember what you are doing is illegal as you are a minor so just bear that in mind when you make your decision. You mum cant decide for you, she would have you in electric tazer underwear until your 40 if she could.
life is about learning, and making mistakes along the way, it makes us human, all these opinions mean nothing sweeheart, be you! <3
